Except it's raining out...but I took a walk to Captain's Cove yesterday with my friend Justin. He took the train in for a few hours to chill. I was pretty beat after driving for 4 hours so I wasn't so entertaining.
This weekend was entertaining though. I saw this fat little boy:
Ben loves cameras and got really excited when he realized that I was snapping pics of him. He's the cutest baby in the world. And yes, that's a fact. You can look it up on Wikipedia....now if only I knew how to add "fact" onto Wikipedia...
Anyway, I did a lot of knitting while I was in NY visiting the family. I started on another Multi-directional scarf for no one in particular.
I've found that if I decide to knit anything for a person, I never finish it or it takes me a year or two to get it done. I'm almost done with the 1 skein of Cascade that I have. I might just have to buy another....I think I have no choice but to visit the yarn store in the very near future.
In other news, I cooked today! I made breaded chicken cutlets. They were yummy and I would have liked to make more but I didn't know how to cut the cutlets a little thinner without killing myself. I also bought some cauliflower to fry up but didn't get around to doing it. Maybe on Thursday since tomorrow night is SnB. I made spaghetti and meatballs last Monday but I think it came out like crap. But after talking to my sister's husband's cousin's wife (haha, I love dragging relations out instead of just saying "my brother-in-law's cousin") we decided that since I can make a mean meatloaf, I could use the same basic recipe but then just make it into meatballs and bake them in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. I was hoping to try it tonight but Stop and Shop didn't have kosher ground turkey. Jerks.
That's all I have to talk about for now. I leave you with another picture of my little Ben-Ben.
