I tried to make a felted soap just now. I think I failed slightly....:( But it's okay! I'm being optimistic and I'm going to use my soap in the morning when I shower and maybe it'll felt more. I have hope. I also don't know what kind of roving Emily gave me and maybe that has something to do with it. I'll just blame the roving. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow. I'm too lazy to do it right now and I should go move the yarn that was in a photo shoot earlier today from Greg's desk.
I've photographed a lot of my yarn since Monday. I would like to get my entire stash in Ravelry soon. I really don't know what I have and I need to really buckle down and work on my projects more diligently. I'm in a creative mood lately....almost a mania, I would say--but I'm not quite there yet...
Did anyone notice that I've been blogging more? Anyone?
So back to the felted soap thing...I used the chocolate buttercream truffle bar that I bought at the CT Sheep and Wool Festival from Sleepy Moon Soaps. I want to eat it. It smells so good, but it does lather into a creamy, very pale brown color. Good thing Sami warned me...I might have thought it was the roving or something. Maybe the soap has something to do with the lack of felting? Maybe I'm just obsessing because I'm bored.
I should go to bed. Sorry this post lacked a certain something for those of you reading. Leave me comments or something!
